However, for various reasons, many of them want to have the tattoo removed some time later on in thier life. After years of having no recourse after getting a tattoo, new laser technology was introduced that provided a method to remove unwanted tattoos. Since, many advancements have been made in laser technology, and now, new laser tattoo removal techniques can completely eliminate your unwanted tattoo with minimal side effects!
How It Works
Lasers remove tattoos by breaking up the pigment colors of the tattoo with a high intensity light beam. Pulses of light from the laser are directed onto the tattoo breaking up the tattoo pigment. Over the next several weeks the body's scavenger cells remove the treated pigmented areas. Smaller tattoos require fewer pulses while larger ones require more pulses.
Black tattoo pigment absorbs all laser wavelengths, making it the easiest to treat and remove. Other colors can be treated by selecting lasers based upon the pigment color. In either case, the tattoo requires several treatments and multiple visits. At each treatment, the tattoo should become progressively and visibly lighter.
